Wanted: "Thunder Mug" Synonyms
I need to know some synonyms for "bathroom" and/or "toilet." I had been trying to think of a way to decorate our half bath downstairs (the one that everyone actually sees, but the last to get any hint of decoration), and one day it hit me: I'll use those vinyl words and do "toilet" and "bathroom" synonyms! Hopefully the finished product turns out like I see it in my head. Now I just need the words. Let me know what words you think I should include. And before anyone posts it in a comment, no, I'm not sure I have wit enough to do "crapper," though I haven't decided how uncouth I'll be. What do you think?

The "stool pool." I just made that one up. I think its pretty awesome. The obvious ones: the head, the loo (sp?), the water closet, the lavoratory, the humpty dump-ster (also original- thank you!)the can, the throne, the camode- think thats the wrong spelling, the john, powder room, and yes, crapper is a must. You could also use every gender-specific term: ladies room, mens room, little boys and little girls room. Heck, do you even need any more?
Duh, potty.
... also find all the words in other languages. Can you tell I like this challenge? Sorry, I'll give everyone else a turn.
I like the different language idea. My mother in law also has a pic in her bathroom of a little boy being in a stream with the text "don't drink the water".
can, pot, porcelin gods, tank, potty, gabinetto in Italian (as you know, the Spanish word also means bathtub, so that's not really as cool, but if you have a lot of other languages, it would be), chamber pot (if you're going old school), throne...that's all we can think of that hasn't been shared already. I think the more you have, the more you need to include 'crapper.' If you stick to like, 3 words, it would be a little crude. Of course, it's the bathroom, so does that matter? I guess you can decide based on whether or not the words will still be up when Taylor learns to read...
I like "Thunder Throne Room". I have the best picture for you that hung over my toilet for years, Steve's mom drew it. It is of a little boy peeing in a pond with a frog jumping out. Let me know
Hey I found you blog jumping...go figure. And then I found a few other friends from your sidebar. How cool is that. I am still laughing from that Roseanne Barr quote. And the picture of your boys is amazing. Are you into photography?
