All They Want For Christmas

They already have their two front teeth. Next on the list? Boxes.
Not only do I not know which computer has the editing software, but frankly, I'm too tired. So you'll have to suffer through some video (and crack) to get to the awesome part. Apparently the adhesive on boxes isn't that strong.

The Big 1

One. I can't believe he's already one. It seems like it took Taylor forever to get there. But with Erik, I think I might have blinked a couple of times and he's already turning one on me.

Here he is brand-spankin'-new.

Three months:

Such a ferocious dragon. At least he doesn't breathe fire.

I love his eyes.

And here's my big boy today! Okay, so actually yesterday, but Kent was on call today, so we're saving the cake, ice cream, and party hat pictures until he can be home with us. So basically all I got were lame pictures today. He wasn't even smiling in any of them.

We love you, Erik!

Thanks, Nicole!

Okay, so maybe these are my all-time favorite pictures. We put Taylor in his snow boots so that he could rice on the bigger rides. He wasn't such a fan. It all started out innocent enough (even though he was already at this point a little skeptical concerning how much fun he'd have):
And this how it ended.
Thanks for the pictures, Nicole!
(Notice Brock, Kent's little cousin, in the background looking like he's going to hurl.)
And concerning the picture of the boys asleep in the backseat in the previous post: it was at In-N-Out. No Taco Bell for us.

The Happiest Place On Earth

Yes, it truly is the happiest place on earth. We went to Disneyland this past week with Kent's brother Craig and his wife, Nicole, and his parents, Steve and Linda. It was great. I wish we could go there more often.

While we were on space mountain the ride stopped. Very horrifying to sit there in the dark wondering if the car behind you is going to plow straight into you, considering you can't see or hear anything. We sat there for a while and the lights finally came on- it didn't look nearly as cool as you would expect. And with all the technology, all it took to get us started was a good ol' fashioned push.
Erik loved the water park area in California Adventures. Priceless.

After the water park area, they were soaked. I had an extra pair of clothes for Erik, but all I had for Taylor was pajamas. Here he is in his sweet outfit, complete with snow boots to give him that extra little lift.

The best picture we got of everyone (minus Kent).

Don't you think Taylor looks slightly crazed?

Yes, those are matching shirts. Cheesy, but I couldn't resist.

My all-time favorite picture from the trip.

Here's a slideshow of some more pics.

After Disneyland we went to stay with Kent's aunt and uncle, the Bushnells. Taylor LOVED playing with his cousin Brock. We took all three of the boys to the beach and they had a lot of fun- regardless of the fact that it was windy and a little chilly.

And if that wasn't enough, we topped it off with Sea World. First of all, not as magical as Disneyland. It would have been fine if we hadn't just had a rockin' good time at Disneyland. But since it was free with being in the military, it was great, and the boys liked watching the animals. Taylor wouldn't touch the sting rays to save his life, but Erik loved them.

It was a great vacation. Look how much fun they had!
