"Maybe we will move to Arizona..."

Well, as some of you know, two years ago Taylor's bedroom had flooded. We were forced to find a new place to rent because fun little mold friends started growing in his room. So we found this lovely gem of a place that we are now renting (yes, when I say, "gem," I am being very generous, but hey, we had about 1 week to find it). If you've been watching the news, we've had some pretty heavy rain. When Kent went downstairs last night, what do you think was there to greet him? Lo and behold, there was water covering our floor in the laundry room. And this time it wasn't coming in from the windows, but from the foundation! Luckily, the only things damaged were a bookcase that my father-in-law calls, "an heirloom," and a rickety computer desk we got from Wal-mart. But still- it's the principle of the matter. So we have yet another story of our home flooding. When we were looking down at our very own water-front property last night, Kent says, "Maybe we will move to Arizona... there isn't any water." I'm starting to feel like Noah.
